The Club

Founded in 1969, Royal Poinciana Golf Club is a private, invitation-only club with members who have lived all over the world. RP's two impeccably maintained 18-hole golf courses, seven HydroGrid soft tennis courts, seven pickleball courts, elegant indoor and outside dining options, superior bridge program, and extensive social program make membership a coveted achievement. A waitlist to join quickly formed even before the club opened its doors. Whether enjoying a game of golf on our Audubon International Certified courses where tee times are not required or experiencing a gourmet Chef's Table event in the grand Poinciana Room, our "Commitment to Excellence" will be undeniable.

The program is for golf courses and is dedicated to protecting the environment while preserving the natural heritage of the game of golf.

By providing habitat management with native plants and trees to support local wildlife, reducing the use of chemicals, and conserving water, RP's dedicated Green and Grounds staff have maintained their Audubon International certification with pride since 1996. Royal Poinciana's Audubon and Memorial Tree Committee spearheads outreach and education in the form of bird and wildlife tours, butterfly release, and tree donations.

The Pines Course, designed by David Wallace in 1970 and redesigned twice by Arthur Hills by the end of 2010, offers a rich history and challenging play. The Cypress Course, also designed by Wallace in 1970, was renovated in 2016. Both courses are exclusive to members and perfect for golfers of all ages. The Pines Course will undergo a renovation in the summer of 2025, led by The Fazio Design Group.
