SUMMARY: This position requires experience in high-volume production of a la carte desserts, banquet desserts, bread making, ice creams, and pastries. The Club does an F&B revenue of 4.2 million annually.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises up to 10 employees in the Culinary Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Prepare daily cold foods, such as salads, salad dressing, cold hors d'oeuvres, fancy sandwiches, canapés, and cold platters through the use of the highest quality ingredients
  • Ensure quality food production and perform daily market requirements
  • Maintain an exceptional production knowledge and attention to detail with decoration and taste quality
  • Prepare daily food items using quality control according to required RP Culinary established standards and recipes
  • The ability to create new recipes utilizing classical and modern techniques
  • Must strive to meet state required Food Safety Guidelines and Cleaning Standards as well as wear proper uniform attire at all times
  • Assist in setting up buffets and plate banquet functions
  • Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met, coordinate menu tastings and pre-meal meetings to educate staff on food taste and preparation methods as directed by the Executive Chef, work in assigned station
  • Attend daily, weekly and/or monthly communication meetings
  • (BEO) Banquet order event sheet management
  • Organizational skills, multitasking, delegation of assignments to the team
  • Able to manage multiple parties and private events – up to 600 covers a day
  • Ability to work in a high-paced work environment

  • Exhibits professionalism and expressed interest of improvement through enhanced developmental skills and expressed direction through own self-actions
  • Requires the individual to maintain flexible availability, will work weekends, and holidays.May be required to return to job site at odd hours under emergency situations.
  • Maintain a pleasant and outgoing personality and must not possess any extreme personal appearance characteristics as judged by a conservative membership base
  • Must be respected in the Community
  • Serves as a role model and sets a positive example for the entire staff in all aspects of business and personnel management

Qualifications:

  • Completion of apprenticeship program or degree from an accredited culinary institute
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality high volume premium private club, quality hotel or fine dining restaurant
  • Able to work holidays and weekends

SUMMARY: This position involves entry level to semi-skilled equipment operation work in golf course maintenance. Responsible for mowing greens, and tees; maintain bunkers; and change cups on greens and tee markers. Pick up debris, leaves, and broken tree limbs. Perform related work as required. Will learn and be responsible for skills necessary to maintain and improve a private upscale golf course. This position is under the direct supervision of the Assistant Superintendent, or other management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Assists in the care and maintenance of the turf, ornamental plants, shrubs, and trees on the facility grounds.
  • Operates smaller equipment and hand tools as directed by his/her supervisor.
  • Work efficiently in getting course ready before membership play with tournament ready conditions on a daily basis according to golf course play standards. Getting to work on time and having all tools/equipment ready to begin the job.
  • Contributes to the attention to detail. Picking up trash and weeds throughout the facility.
  • Returns equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility clean, greased, and fueled.
  • Performs other duties as directed by his/her supervisor.
  • Safely operates all equipment.
  • Reports any equipment malfunctions to the Equipment Manager and or Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Prior golf and country club experience preferred.
  • Requires a valid Florida driver's license.
